Relic2K
Anyone know of any scripts or programs that do this in Linux ? Thanks dudes :)
MottS
I did it once before but I reinstalled since then. Here is what I used -> http://www.cornelinux.de/linux/kavi2svcd/i...ex-english.html Download it from there (RPM) -> http://rpmseek.com/rpm/kavi2svcd-0.5.1-1.i...PN:0:0:0:319387 You need Transcode, Mplex, VCDImager and CDRDAO. Kavi2svcd is just the GUI. You can download Transcode and the other packages form PLF and Textar so add these sources to urpmi and install them all ... Hope that help MOttS
Relic2K
I will give these programs a try, do you know if these tools will allow me to create images that can be put on CD ? I will see if I can round up all the packages and code in the mean time. Edited: Nevermind responding, I found my answer on the Website, but again thanks for the info. Relic2K
As I attempt to install one package, I am finding out that I have to install various others, or I a missing other required ones. Does anyone have a list of exactly what packages are required for Mandrake, other than the MPlex, and the ones required for KAvi2SVCD ? I am starting to run into conflicts where one package is required but will not install because another is missing.

Relic2K
What I have installed so far are; cdrdao-1.1.7 libmjpegtools0-1.6.1-1mdk libmjpegtools0-devel-1.61-1mdk If I try anything else I have discrepancies as posted in above message. Could it be the versions of the packages that I am using ? Or am I just missing packages ?

thac
you must type this in the same catalog where you actually have the rpm. /thac
Relic2K
I didn't have the actual package downloaded, I had to download it first before running the urpmi command. It is actually working as I type this. I think I will be using this method of installing more often :) Thanks Guys for the help and patience.
