Trio3b Posted May 7, 2005 Report Share Posted May 7, 2005 (edited) Using MDK 10.0+ microtek slimscan C6 on LP port. Microtek slimscan C6 is listed in the MCC hdwr setup as supported, but have tried several "select device" settings with no luck, it keeps reporting no scanners detected on this system. Have a USB model of this scanner that is detected and works fine. Is it possible that mdk is expecting a printer on the port? How can I configure the lp0 on PC to be available for use with the scanner which has connections to go between the PC and the printer. (using parallel port on PC to port A on scanner.which then has another connector labelled "to printer". Any ideas?
