urpmi problems - no --auto-select(solved)

Hi all,

 

After kde3.4 update (thanks Thac!) unable to perform

 

urpmi --wget --auto-select --no-verify-rpm

tried just urpmi --auto-select

 

but all that happens is terminal sits there and does ...nothing!!

 

tried to remove rpm database with

rm -rf /var/lib/rpm/__db*

 

and then rebuild it - but still no joy...

 

got the following media added:

Are your mirrors accessible? urpmi can sometimes just sit there doing not a lot of anything if you're trying to use a mirror it can't reach.

Sometimes it will sit there and appear to do not much of anything for 5 minutes or more on my box, but eventually does its thing.

shall check all, and try a LOT more patience!
