Hi Friends,

Its me again, i know i ask too much, but i like to know alot about Linux. This happened to me for the Second time.

I have this Hardware to give you more Background about my Problem:

NV18 GeForce4 MX440 AGP 8x

Monitor SAMTRON 76DF

and i have this Resolution :

1280x1024 with 60 Hz Frequency

Beside i have correctly installed my Nvidia Driver and everything work well till now.

today as i turned on my PC there was somthing strange as i loged in the Xwindow mode, the fonts changed to look smaller than its normal look, everything look smaller than before, really it looks well, and i liked this, but the question how this has been done, this what i can not understand, then i made after 2 hours of working, a new Restart for my System, but then the fonts get back to its normal look, and no more any small fonts, everything looks now normal, so i thought that was the Resolution of the Screen, i did change it this time myself, but the fonts keep its normal look just the Screen get wider . Can anyone tell me how can i get back this small look for the whole screen?

It was a nice Mistake :lol2: i would love to get it back.

This section is correct, so it must be a pure font problem.

Do you load "mode1" and "freetype" in the Modules section of your xorg.conf?

In the same section, try commenting the "glx" part in and out, and see if it makes a difference when you restart X (alt+ctrl+backspace).
