Murda
Hi. I was just wondering how i can make my MDK 10.1 to accept connections from two ip addresses. I saw it done on RedHat (Gnome) but i never found that option from MDK (KDE). I have already eth0, but need also eth1 on same network adapter. Let's say that i have eth0 (ip 10.0.0.1) already, but i want to listen also 10.0.0.2 (eth1). Is it possible? And what does KDE and Mandrake Control Center say about it if i make modifications to configuration files? Can it be done from Control Center? Not urgent one, but if someone could help i would appreciate it. Thanks. Edited April 11, 2005 by Murda
paul
from a command line copy /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 (I can't remember the exact name) to /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:1 then edit the new file and change the ip address in there.
