okay, as the ubuntu forum is shit (no one seems really capable over there) i am trying my best in here. may the luck be with me. i will try to make it as short as possible. maybe someone of you knows how this could be fixed... :unsure:

System: Ubuntu 5.04 Hoary, i386, Gnome 2.10

 

Description: When running the "mail-notification" app for the Gnome-panel and running multiple mail accounts (3+), it severely crashes insted of retreiving information on incoming e-mails. It was tested with one normal pop account and two gmail accounts and only after adding a second gmail account it began to crash. Reactivation of the notifier during the session results in repeated crashes.

 

Reproduction: Reinstall and removing of temporary files in /home, as well as reboot of system does not change anything, crashes after every reboot and system login.

oooh... rather frustrating news... no real workaround other than not using gmail accounts and waiting for a new version... but at the same time a demonstration of the superior quality of this board. thanks, devries. :)
