Jza Posted March 19, 2005 Report Share Posted March 19, 2005 My laptop connects to the interent via modem, however, whenever I turned my pcmcia on I find myself not getting internet anymore (even if my modem still conencted. My modem is an Lucent Technology Winmodem and my PCMCIA from D-Link. I load the yenta_socket followed by the crdmgr which starts my pcmicia but stop recieving data from the modem. Any help? Qchem Posted March 21, 2005 Report Share Posted March 21, 2005 This is a 'feature' of those drivers, networking seems to interfer with the modem so networking should be switched off.
