jaraeez Posted March 6, 2005 Report Share Posted March 6, 2005 Hi all, Ive read so many posts to no avail. My problem is that I can not get my dvd-rom to detect original dvd's. Now what I mean by this is that I can play originals but only the 2nd discs. Which leads me to presume that its the dvd-menu's that is a problem. Ive installed all the relevant packages (libdvdcss, libdvdnav, libdvdread, etc..) When i put the 2nd disc in the drive all works well & VLC starts up playing. When i try the 1st disc the dvd-rom does nothing (no spinning etc..) when I try to browse to the /mnt/dvd folder nothing...
