So when I booted completely I did the modprobe yenta_socket crdmgr /etc/init.d/pcmcia start And it boot, however I havent been able to get it to start during boot time. Here is some useful data from my modprobe.conf / modprobe.preload modprobe.conf ### section lt_drivers ends alias eth0 pcnet_cs modprobe.preload modprobe yenta_socket evdev winmodem
frosterrj
you dont say what version you're running, but if its a beta, I think the issue was that the init scripts has net and pcmcia starting with the same number, so pcmcia tried to start before net and that doesnt work. THis is only from memory and I may be missing some details. Check your init scripts rc3-5.d and maybe then you see the problem.
