curtis e. bear Posted February 25, 2005 Report Share Posted February 25, 2005 on my server (mandrake 10.1) i have two printers, an HP LASERJET III and a Canon S600. I turned on the HP for the first time after installing mandrake, and immediateley it starts squirting out pages with one line of garbage on the top the sheet, and it doesn't stop. any idea why this is? on my previous installation i upgraded from 9.2 to 10.1 and it worked fine that time, but i was forced to install again, and now it does this. devries Posted February 25, 2005 Report Share Posted February 25, 2005 Have you tried removing the printer (in the Mandrake Control Center, Kprint, Cups etcetc doesn't really matter) and adding it again?
