Guest nav
hello, i have mandrake 10.1 installed and i have been trying to install the linksys wpc11 ver 4 . i downloaded the linux-wlan-ng 0.2.0 and went as far as Linux source directory [/usr/src/linux]: The config script will attempt to automagically find your kernel source directory. If found, the kernel source source directory will be presented as the default selection. If the default selection is wrong, you may correct it here. i have usr/src/rpm/rpms how do i find where my source directory is and how do i go about after this step. thanks in advance nav
Qchem
If its installed your kernel source will be in /usr/src/linux if this doesn't exist you need to install the kernel source first, use urpmi (or the graphical version in mcc) to do that. Qchem
It might be best to take a look at ndiswrapper, it allows you to load the windows drivers for a wireless card under linux. This board has FAQs and many posts on it too.
