devries
Install libstdc++6-3.4.1-4mdk.i586.rpm To help you help yourself: http://rpm.pbone.net/ If you see an error with xxxxx.so copy that to that site and look in what rpm package it can be found. Good luck.

reb2
done it lol. problem solved!!! my last post was because of my error! i downloaded the wrong package never mind i've learned again (i love linux for that lol). just in case anyone else has a problem. i needed to down load the libstdc++6-3.4.1-mdk.i586.rpm and also libmpeg2dec0-0.4.0b-2mdk.i586.rpm install them two and then scummvm-0.7.0-1mdk.i586.rpm (this was for mandy10.0 OE) here goes full throttle (fingers crossed). thanks devries, you pointed me in the right direction regards reb
reb2
quick update, I know these are old games, but i still like to play them, and now i can in linux !! full throttle now works fully, as does broken sword 1 & 2 (do need to download the cutscenes for these from scummvm.org although you can play the games without the cutscenes) , simon the sourcerer 1 & 2, the dig, and beneath a steel sky. well they work ok on my machine anyway. and yes they are the originals purchased by me ages ago !! except for bass which is the download from scummvm.org site. lots of other old games are supported, and work is ongoing to improve the compatibility and playability of them all, pop along to scummvm and give them a look over you never know that old game just might be supported? all i can say is thank you to the people at scummvm for their hard work. a donation is on its way! regards reb
