Guest anon
Well i got something i can't fix myself :o :D Adding any source in a consol just returns a root prompt. No output, nothing. urpmi install_something works fine, as does any other urpmi command and the interesting thing is adding a source via MCC works OK. Tried removing all sources from urpmi config manually and adding again from consol but no luck. Rebuilt database etc. Any ideas other than removing urpmi and deps, and reinstall? bvc
well, if it's cooker...mamma always said "don't do that!" ....I'd say use mcc til it's fixed because I don't think an uninstall reinstall will help unless you mean revert to an older working version :D
arctic
have you already tried updating urpmi (maybe you got an old, buggy version?)?

Or have to expell you :P :woops: Don't think this problem is going to be solved without reinstalling urpmi at some point. But thanks to those who replied.
