usb-key automount

This may be because your USB drive does not have any partitions on it. Mandrake 10.1

drakxtools will not auto-mount a whole-disk filesystem such as /dev/sda.

If you look in /var/log/messages, you can find out what device udev creates for

the USB drive. I recently discovered that for my USB key, which was "as supplied"

without any partitions that the device file is /dev/sda. After creating a partition

on /dev/sda1 it is auto-mounted on insertion. You will probably have to find a Windows

machine to run the partitioning software which should have been supplied with your key.

My Mandrake 10.1 with KDE doesn't auto mount usb-key when I plug it in...

This is strange for me because in the "old" mandrake 10.0 it worked..

Anyone know if I can resolve this issue?

I had the same problems with Mandrake 10.1 and i followed the guide on USB stick survival guide

After that the stick was easily detected by Mandrake 10.1
