Steve Scrimpshire
I just got one of these: http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/presentationremote/ and plugged it in and the mouse functions of it work right away (except for the scroll wheel). It doesn't add anything in xorg.conf and I've tried adding pointer sections for it to see if I could get the scroll wheel to work properly, but to no avail. Funny thing is if I operate the scroll wheel, it scrolls through the bash history on the last terminal I had active. Here's dmesg when I plug it in: usb 1-1: new low speed USB device using address 3 input: USB HID v1.00 Keyboard [Keyspan, a division of InnoSys Inc. Keyspan RF Remote] on usb-0000:00:0c.0-1 input: USB HID v1.00 Mouse [Keyspan, a division of InnoSys Inc. Keyspan RF Remote] on usb-0000:00:0c.0-1 usbcore: registered new driver usbkbd drivers/usb/input/usbkbd.c: :USB HID Boot Protocol keyboard driver Where should I begin? Note that I already have a regular usb mouse plugged in, so the usbmouse module is already loaded.
