mikewho Posted January 2, 2005 Report Share Posted January 2, 2005 using the how-to from the forum i've updated my ATI drivers (downloaded from ati.com) after driver update there are strange dots and lines on my screen when in 2d mode (i.e. desktop) the noise is rare but it gets uncomfortable, when there is lots of dark colours on the screen noise gets more frequent this "screen noise" is worse when using the 3d graphics, like glxgears. esspecialy when launching the fgl_glxgears, the noise is getting something like this 3d generated box but few inches to the right anyone know where to find the cure? thanks MikeL MDK10.1Official, X.org, ATI driver: fglrx-4.3.0-3.14.6.i386.rpm ATI Radeon 9000 DDR, iCel1.8G, intel845 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
