inflexion Posted December 21, 2004 Report Share Posted December 21, 2004 right everything apart from the mentioned is running smoothly with my connection. Im connected via the infamous Alcatel Frog modem. Using the method posted on here and its set up to connect on boot. Sometime i can leave my connection for hours and it wont disconnect sometimes is a matter of minutes, the thing that puzzles me is the fact that it doesnt so this in M$xp or is due to the fact the MSN constantly pings the server, thereby keepin the connection alive. Im using AMsn at the moment, would a change of client possibly solve this or is the problem likely to be else where Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
