Now, I have installed these without issue and get all the neat new transparency and all that jazz, however, I noticed that there was an advisery for xorg that had some security issues and they released a new update I belive in Nov. The time stamp on the xorg rpms from the link were created back in OCT. So, it appears that these might not have the new updates. Therefore, where can I get the xorg 6.8.0 that will have the security updates and that will automatically update when I update my system? Thanks!!! I don't know about any security issues. The xorg mirrors still have 6.8.1. as the latest. thac Posted December 4, 2004 Report Share Posted December 4, 2004 (edited) If you want the latest xorg rpms for 10.1 get them at http://rpm.nyvalls.se/index10.1.html Since svetljo isnt available to continue his work has i continued developing the xorg rpms myself Dont forget to update to the latest Mesa-6.2 also. Though the rpms are there, I prefer getting the SRPMS and compiling them on my machine. But in your 10.1 srpm repository - there is no xorg-6.8.1 srpm.
