richie
Hi I get these two lines in my logs every time I boot Mandrake 10.1 Official, Nov 18 10:53:31 charlie ifup: Failed to open connection to session message bus: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-We96n ZX0GU: Connection refused Nov 18 10:53:31 charlie ifup: Failed to open connection to session message bus: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-fbB33 VB3GS: Connection refused I checked /tmp and these files are not there. The network connection works, but I can't figure what is meant to happen. Does anyone know? richie
I get these two lines in my logs every time I boot Mandrake 10.1 Official, Nov 18 10:53:31 charlie ifup: Failed to open connection to session message bus: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-We96n ZX0GU: Connection refused Nov 18 10:53:31 charlie ifup: Failed to open connection to session message bus: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-fbB33 VB3GS: Connection refused Looking further in to this, this message occurred after I removed a network connection and set up a new one. Looks like it could be linked to ifplugd, this is no longer running. My network connection does work, just trying to figure this out. How do I start ifplugd at boot time? Cheers Rich
Qchem
There should be an option to start the service at boot in mcc. Let us know if this solves the problem.
