Guest vhodges
Hi all. I am a complete noob to linux in general and I have a question. I have both DSL and Cable modem access and I want to be able to connect both of those connections to my firewall. I also have two lan segments, 192.168.1.x/24 and 172.16.31.x/16. I want 192.168.1.x to go thru the cable modem and 172.16.31.x to go through DSL. I have tried it with Novell Boarder manager with no success, Microsoft's ISA (can do it with a $3000 add-on). I was wondering if MNF can do this out of the box, with caching and packet filtering. If so i think that I found my project for the next couple of weeks. Thanks, Victor Hodges
wessellj
I don't have the answer, though when you find out, post it just for the educational aspect. As to having both types of connections, why? Are they free?
AA
It is definatly do-able... much configuration will have to take place from your side though... hmmm yes... No idea what you'd use either... try combination squid and squidguard i guess could work... otherwise... no idea...!!
