Sophisto
Hi! swapped to linux for a couple of weeks ago and have now got to understand the really basics.... but now to my question; Was using tagscanner with windows which I loved, but so far, I have found it hard to find a good substitute. Was wondeing if any of you guys have any good id3 editing programs to recommend.. Something that would edit v2 tags, have an option for importing tags from the filenams/directories and also be able to apply changes to many mp3s in one go (so you dont have to do each one seperatelly)? Thanks! Edited November 8, 2004 by Sophisto
devries
Juk and musicbrainz can do that. Juk in a musicplayer (a bit like iTunes) and musicbrainz an online repository for tag information. Rightclick (or select) the files you want to edit. Good luck. Sophisto
Sorry but im getting a bit confused... Due to what ive read Juk is suppose to come with KDE... I have mandrake 10.1CE with KDE 3.2.3 but when I look at the install software section under the "configure your computer" button I can't find Juk.. nor can I find it installed on my system... Could it be because I have the community version?
devries
The rpm package is called kdemultimedia-juk.
Sophisto
Hm. that rpm is for some reason not on any of the 3 ISOs i downloaded from linuxquestions. Maybe its not in the 10.1 CE version?
