Just download the RPMs here and install them.

You'll need:

libdvdcss-1.2.2-fr1.i586.rpm

libdvdread-0.9.3-ogle1.i586.rpm

ogle-0.8.5-ogle2alsa.i586.rpm

ogle_gui-0.8.5-ogle1.i586.rpm

xvattr-1.3-ogle1.i586.rpm

The last one is optional, but it's used for setting brightness, contrast, etc.

Feel free to mirror them if you want. My server isn't always online.

Hah. They are up. I havd them last night, but I didn't think to post...

You'll have to pick them out of this list:

http://aslan.no-ip.com/~dana/rpms/

You'll need:

MPlayer-0.90pre8-1.i586.rpm

MPlayer-skins-1.0-1.noarch.rpm

iso-8859-1-MPlayer-font-1-1.noarch.rpm

w32codec-0.60-1.i386.rpm

I think that's it.

I installed mplayer last night :(

a fairly hard way

didn't have

iso-8859-1-MPlayer-font-1-1.noarch.rpm

uses another off plf that didn't seem to work properly, kept getting an error at startup

something like it couldn't find a .ttf font.

So i just searched for ttf's and use a X11 one and no more error, seems to work fine now.

I like that ogle, you get a nice dvd player for only about 800k of downloads

8)

OT: got vegastrike going in 9.0

i had to install the png2 rpm from 8.1(i think)

and force the intsall of the vegastrike rpm

then symlink the alsa so file to the older version name, and do the same for the oggfile... so.

It runs but sound not working properly, i will look into it latter.

you can't install the older versions of alsa, and ogg as it breaks alot in 9.0
