Big_Baller Posted November 3, 2004 Report Share Posted November 3, 2004 I was talking to my friend and he was telling me that linux could lose steam in the years to come if it dosn't go 64 bit. aRTee Posted November 4, 2004 Report Share Posted November 4, 2004 Linux was the first system to run on 64 bit opteron cpu's. MS still hasn't managed to enter that market. FYI, things with open specs tend to have linux support first. Bluetooth comes to mind as an example.
