Guest boonders
Why does Update, Install, remove, software take SOOOOOOOOO long to load? its going to kill my dvd player if it keeps seeking it so much. Anybody know? Dane

Guest boonders
6 sources, but most of the time it isn't accessing my internet connection, its just spinning the hell out of my cd-rom
Dutch
One of the reasons for the delay in reading the rpm database is a slight bug with supermount. I found that by putting a CD in the tray before opening Install, etc, did the trick - even when I didn't want to look in the CD! Since updating with the latest urpmi/grpmi though, the delay has gone - at least on my system :) Dutch
Guest boonders
exactly, i noticed this too, but i frig'n hate having to pull a CD out to save myself 20-30 secs. Any i did update, but it still takes its sweet time. Any news of a final bug fix for this then?
bvc
Supermount has always given people probs. You're one of the unlucky ones. Unfortunately to stop the behavior, you'll have to disable supermount.
