Guest hunterontheway
hi. I isntalled edonkey2000 to my mandrake 10.0 com. edition but couldnt managed to download anything. It is so slow. It connects to somewhere but dont download anything. Is there anyother software that i can use for downloading mp3 fastly and efficiently? When will the Kde3.31 download be available for mandrake users? thanx
devries
Use bittornado (a bittorrent client). Do urpmi bittornado (it's in contrib so make sure it's added as one of your repositories). Look at suprnova.org (not a typo) for content.

Ronin
What part has you confused? They said to install bittornado and then to go to suprnova.org to look for whatever you are wanting to download. Seems pretty straightforward. :)
SpikeyKlitske
I tried to install bittornado but failed ie could not find the package. I searched the packages that come with the cd's but nothing there, so im a little stuck there. Then the text mentiones to make sure it is added as one of my repositories, that i do not understand
devries
Look in the FAQ's for urpmi. Contrib is repository for 'extra' software. ftp://ftp.ciril.fr/pub/linux/mandrakelinu...6/media/contrib ftp://ftp.ciril.fr/pub/linux/mandrakelinu...2mdk.noarch.rpm But it depends on some other software so be sure to set up urpmi correctly using the FAQ's. :)
SpikeyKlitske
thx once the urpmi was set using the easy urpmi link in the faq the initial command installed bittornado
