Guest beckdmb
I am running mandrake 10.0 on my laptop. I have a D-Link AirPlus XtremeG wireless card, model DWL-G650. Where can I find drivers for this card? They only thing I have come across are Windows drivers. moved from Hardware by LiquidZoo
liquidzoo
What version is your card? Different versions use different drivers. v1 uses prism_cs v2-v3 will need ndiswrapper (there's a large post on how to get this working, search for ndiswrapper, poster iphitus) v4 uses prism_cs again. For a more in-depth guide, look here: http://mandrakeusers.org/index.php?showtopic=5494 Chances are, if the command (as root) /sbin/cardctl ident returns anything, you can get it to work with native drivers. durvish
If I am not mistaken your chipset is the atheros chipset. There isn't a linux driver for that yet but you can go to madwifi -- or try using ndiswrapper( there is a post here on the board somewhere with a walkthrough )

Guest beckdmb
As of now, it still isn't working. I looked into that ndiswrapper. I downloaded what I think I need, but I haven't installed anything yet. I am BRAND new to Linux and I am not quite sure on how to install that stuff yet. I did find some vague instructions that I am trying to work through right now. I will let you know if I get it to work or not.
