jaraeez
Hi all, I would first of all like to say hello to you all. This is my first post & I hope you can help with an easy (well easy if you know the answer) Q. I am new to MDK & learning all the time & loving it!! BUT.. now & then I get confused with the short-cut keys (ex-windoze player) & accidently kick my self out of my X session. The session is still running but I get put back to the terminal login screen. I think I press CTRL-ALT-F2 or backspace can't remember. My Q. is how do I get back into the session without rebooting (which is what I do at the mo') .. TIA
liquidzoo
Well, to narrow it down: If you pressed Ctrl-Alt-F2, you will be presented with a new login prompt If you pressed Ctrl-Alt-Backspace, you should just have a command line (maybe) or a new DM session (probable) My guess is that you pressed Ctrl-Alt-F2 (and got the login screen) and to fix it, just press Ctrl-Alt-F7
jaraeez
Yep you are right... I pressed Ctrl-Alt-F2, & indeed pressing Ctrl-Alt-F7 gets me back. A big thank you....
