neomorph Posted October 15, 2004 Report Share Posted October 15, 2004 I downloaded Gaim 1.0.1 (rpm) and tried installing it...It returned an error saying libplds4.so not satisfied...Where can I find this file? Is it available on Mandrake install cd...I have cd1 and cd3 and my cd2 is corrupted. or should i dl from some website? can some1 put up a link where i can dl libplds4.so? Jet2k5 Posted October 15, 2004 Report Share Posted October 15, 2004 Hello, Hello what you can try is download gaim .75 from urpmi. urpmi gaim then after it is installed, then download the Mandrake RPM and once you have that run, rpm -Uvh gaim-1.0blahblah.rpm of course subsituting the ' gaim-1.0blahblah ' with the actual file name.
