  1. Nominated Screenshot Here is my current Mandrake 10.0 desktop
  2. I already downloaded this...didnt boot up when i booted directly from the cd... But I was able to run it in VIrtual PC...the look was good....tis good for a demo...its only 210 MB>...
  3. My iso image is 700 MB and i have 512 MB DDR RAM on my computer with more than 50GB space available on my hdd..
  4. No I dont think u got me right...I was successful in creating the iso file but after i burnt it onto a cd and booted up i get this error message "cp: write error: No space left on device"
  5. I finally created an iso image...but i get a write error saying not enough space to write...i made the iso file with the command "mklivecd mandrake.iso" without specifying any other options....if i specify those options mentioned in the FAQ section....will it work?
  6. Even without mentioning cloop...it doesnt work..

I tried to create a Mandrake liveCD after reading abt it on the FAQ section...When I finally get down to giving the mklivecd command after installing everything mentioned in that post I get an error saying "module cloop.o not found" I use Mandrake 10.0 CE on the 2.6.3-4mdk kernel...can someone tell me how to fix this problem??

  10. Everything's working fine after urpmi gcc-c++....Thanx everyone I'll take that the problem is solved and mark the thread solved - Artificial Intelligence

When I try to install a newer version of a package i get a message saying "everything already installed" ...so if i remove the older versions using the package manager and then try to install the packages again...will it work?? Even after successfully updating using urpmi i got the same error /lib/cpp fails sanity check message....

I am confused...i tried to install the latest version of gcc preprocessor and i got an error saying version conflict...Can someone point out ways to rectify this?? i thought i put this in the software section...would the mods be kind enough to move this topic to its proper section plz..
