Guest william_j_sivil376
I am a LINUX Virgin (i.e. getting started). I am using a COMPAQ 3240 which has the AMD 64 (3200+) processor and a built in wireless card from Broadcom. The installation went smoothly, once I figured out how to set the nVidia drivers. I can access the net via the built in wired NIC. I cannot get the wirelss NIC to work. COMPAQ DOES NOT support Linux and Broadcom does not respond. Anyone else had this problem? What solutions do you reccomend? Thanks
liquidzoo
ndiswrapper is what you need. Search the forum for ndiswrapper posts from iphitus. That will give you the info you need. I don't use it myself, or I could help you more.
