giorsat Posted September 27, 2004 Report Share Posted September 27, 2004 I installed mdk10.1c on my computer with sis controller (it's an all in one lcd). on 10 it went everything fine on 10.1 it hangs on first reboot :when it starts udev it says "disabling irq 7 and 11" then it stops. what is happening? most important. what can I do? aRTee Posted September 27, 2004 Report Share Posted September 27, 2004 When you get the lilo bootmenu, hit [esc] then type: linux noapic nolapic and see if that helps. Ixthusdan Posted September 28, 2004 Report Share Posted September 28, 2004 Have you assigned irq's in the bios? Seems like a hradware thing to me. Check your bios.
