playing quicktime trailers into Linux Mandrake

When i play quicktime trailers like this one for example :

i do not have any sound.

 

Any idea why ?

 

it i the same whether i use VLan or Totem program.

Same here - from the beginning of MDK 10.0. Never saw a fix, but a lot people complaining. I am using Kaffeine btw.

No problem here. You need to install faac - http://zebra.fh-weingarten.de/~maxi/html/m...4/msg00781.html and build mplayer from source.

it works for me .. i did not have any Problems with the sound. just tell me if you have already installed ( Mozplugger ) or not. If not then try to install it and i am sure it will work for you. You should either install Mozplugger or Mplayer Plugins for Mozilla. And everything should work well after that.

will it work if i play a quicktime movie out ot the navigator, i am talking about a quicktime trailer i would play in Vlan or Totem after having downloaded it on my computer.
