and model is

EP-8RDA3I,

then, could you be so kind and tell me ,please, how did you get onboard sound working correctly?

checked at epox site this is what knowledgebase says; if sound stuttering is issue,

may be ur using parallel port Zip drive. workaround is set the parallel port mode to ECP in the bios. the other is which sound controller is on board?

Realtek ALC655 or C-Media CM19739A to determine which by identifying REV#.

found on the motherboard imprinted near the last PCI slot. then via bios u may have to enable it. if not done by os. visit EPOX site for further support.
