Guest morfeus
I have linux mandrake 9.2 installed on computer and now I added an SCSI card (Adaptec AHA 2940UW) and an 10Gb IBM SCSI disk. When I boot up the computer, disk is normally recognized by controller. That's OK. But when I come to mandrake, enter the Control Center there is SCSI card recognized, but disk not! How can I resolve this problem? Do I need a special driver for SCSI disk or something like that?
sir_max
perhaps you have to partition your SCSI disk.. to know if your linux detect your SCSI disk, on a console write this: fdisk -l this will list all partitions and drives on your system, even if there is no partition created yet.. i'm serching for more information on your SCSi adapter, because i don't have one ;) Bye

Roodog
I have a CD-RW which is not seen. I had to disconnect it to allow me to install Mandrake 10.0 CE Now the Adaptec card shows on hardrake, but the CD drive is not detected. How do I add it to /dev?
