sata and raid ....again

Firstly, I apologise if this has been posted before but I cannot get a clear answer to my question with what I have read everywhere. Some of the reason for that is my own ignorance I think!!

I have an up and running Mandrake 10.003 official system running with 3 partitions, One for / one for swap and /home

I am seriously considering trying to einstall the lot in Raid0 format. Only, I'm unsure that I actually can!!!???

I have an Albatron MB with sata raid and two Western Digitals H/Ds

Can anyone tell me whether I can run Mandrake 10 via Sata raid or not?? I am happy to read if someone can show me where there is an "How to" But I cannot find one at the moment.

Albatron only surplies Winblows drivers, and when I did try a few months back I got nowhere out of ignorance.

Thanks for any help.

Try searching the forum for "sata raid", then you might find what you're looking for.

There are countless postings explaining that there are much better sata support in the 10.1 mandrake.....
