liquidzoo
right click on it and go to properties, from there click on the icon and you can change it to whatever you want.
discipledoc
No. That wont work. This icon defaults to the original icon...and it won't allow me to change it. Any other ideas?
Guest dahvaio
You need to change the following depending on what size you use: /usr/share/icons/hicolor/16x16/apps/kmenu.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps/kmenu.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/kmenu.png Instead of kmenu.png it might be go.png, just look to see which icon looks like your K icon... Good luck David
liquidzoo
The above info will work for the k-menu, unless you have applied a theme that replaces the k-menu icon, but it is the right place to look for the default home icon, change it there and you should be good to go. Guest dahvaio
If your using a theme you need to change the following: Depending on what theme your using change the icon here: /home/<user>/.kde/share/icons/<icon-theme>/<sizes>/ Change the kmenu.png icon.... This worked for me with KDE 3.0.3; however, with KDE3.1RC5, it doesn't work... Good luck... David
liquidzoo
did something change with 3.1RC5 that the method you listed won't work? I was not aware of the change, but I haven't tried 3.1 yet either.
