kustom Posted August 27, 2004 Report Share Posted August 27, 2004 (edited) ok well, mdk 10 official is what i'm using. and i can't seem to open /mnt/cdrom when i put a cd in. i'm not sure whats wrong ....if i put an audio song in, i can play it through xmms fine. but i still can't view the songs in nautiluis (pardon spelling). i have files on cd that i wish to view, but something seems to be wrong. i'm using kde, any help would be much appreciated. i searched the forums and came up with some stuff, but unfortunately it didn't help me. I tried with mount /dev/hdc and it says device /dev/hdc doesnt exist, so I tried with: mount /dev/ide/host0/bus1/target0/lun0/cd and it mounted the cd so i could view the files on it, try it yourself and see if it works.
