Guest rcx
I have just installed 9.1 onto an old 200 and something mhz pentium box with 128M RAM. I can boot up and everything just fine. I have a US Robotics external modem connected to it. I have run the internet connection wizard in MCC multiple times. When I attempt to connect to the internet, kppp runs the dial-up and login script just fine, then indicates I have a connection. All the modem lights do their thing. I am sure I am getting online. However, the rest of the system doesn't seem to agree. the MCC says "You do not appear to be connected to the internet." None of the web browsers will load any pages. So I have a modem conncected to the internet but I can't use the connection. Does anyone have any ideas about what I should do to correct this? spiedra
Do you have your firewall up? If so try disabling it.
