It's available in rpm from either cooker or plf. That's the easiest way. I believe with Apollon, there is also another software you have to install which contains the libraries that Apollon needs to work. I believe it's called lib-apollon or something like that.

Actually plf has the latest version of Apollon surprisingly. Usually it takes longer for the latest version to be available in rpm, but this time they jumped on it.

I think you're mistaken, the latest version is 1.0b1 to clear things up.

But I was wondering if someone could help me with the compile error I don't want to start installing rpm's everytime there's a little problem with a source.

I'm a man of the source :afro:
