imwithstupid
For the benefit of everyone else out there...where do i go to set the path that the linker looks for libraries? Most of the 64 bit "make" probs can probably solved by tweaking these settings. For instance i try to compile torcs and i get something that says ld (the linker) can't find -lX11 but i know it exists...its just not looking in the right path. Qchem
There should be an ld conf file - which is often distro specific. Try looking for /etc/ld.conf or something similar. To set for a command line compilation use -l libname for something in the ld path or -L/path/to/libdir
