Guest grc
I want to install bind on my mandrake 10 server. Evidently first you have to remove tmdns which implements zeroconf. urpmi gives an RMP conflict. Is tmdns needed by anything vital? Will I hose my system in some unknown way if I zap it? I have no need for zeroconf (so far as I know) thanks
Gowator
bind replaces tmdns tmdns is just a very lightweight dhcp and dns client .. Ive always had funny problems with it and used bind and dhcp-server anyway!
