Peppercorn
Hi everyone!!! I am having hassles listening to different formats of sound because eveything seems sped up to some degree. A normal mp3 seems about 4% too fast, I know this because I've experimented with Audacity to test it and 4% is about right. However, if I listen to any live streaming via the real player it sounds like chipmunks!! I am using Mandrake 10 with the 2.6.3-15 kernel with a Hoontech soundcard using the ice 1712 driver. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?? I have very limited knowledge about Linux BUT I feel that it has something to do with the sample rate of the file being played. Thanks for any help!
