Guest mjrodd77
I just recently installed Mandrake 9.0 and I'm obviously very new to linux. I must have chosen the wrong resolution because everything is extremely small. How do I change the resolution to 800 x 600? Thanks in advance. liquidzoo
Moved to Hardware In 9.0 it's a bit different than it is in 10.0, but the idea is the same. Go to the Configure Your Computer option in you menu ( Menu -> Configuration) and go to the Hardware section. There will be an entry in there for resolution. You may have to log out and back in for it to display correctly.

When I boot the system, screen is not readable because of wrong settings. I can only boot up the machine with failsafe mode.. How can I configure x window resolution from command mode? thank you..
