Guest Sharky01252
Basically i used a windows xp machine to burn the mandrake install files to cd.... However now they are all in a folder called "New Folder" "Newfolder2" "Newfolder3"... any thing i can do without reburning the cd's?
Ixthusdan
You copied the files instead of burning the image. Don't drag and drop the files. Select "burn image" or "burn iso image" or something like that.
Guest Sharky01252
I extracted the files from the iso to the hardrive first using magic iso.... dunno why just prefer it that way. So that shouldnt be the problem..... i dont thinks
Guest Sharky01252
Starting to think its a different error now.. I reburned the cd's correctly this time... Disk one still isnt recognised as a boot cd rom.. and if i boot from floppy wont access.. Disk two is recognised as a boot cd rom. But hangs after it is
armondf
Hi make sure that when you copy the files, that *all* files are copied, *especially* the hidden files. best way however is to burn iso/image blah blah. Regards, Armond
