yes its happening again, just got the fresh 10 oe install going good, got all my old apps and went to installl the nvidia drivers but the installer finds no kernel source... so I do "urpmi kernel-source'" and get it there. Go back to the installer after going to init3 same error message, cant find a pre compiled kernel source... now I get back to X and I get a soundcard error, my cppu time is stuck at 100% and things are getting jacked up again........ it has been possed lately

you want the easy one or the hard one?

easy: urpmf kernel-source

put in CD3 (i think it's on CD3) and cd into the RPM dir, do ls -l | grep kernel-source* and if the one corresponding to your kernel version (which I believe is the default one) is there, just urpmi <full-filename> it

hard:

update your kernel to kernel-2.6.3-13mdk, which I don't remember how to do.
