axel_2078
I have an NVidia GeForce 2 and it works ok, but the 3D rendering doesn't seem to work. None of the 3D (open GL) screen savers will work on my system.
Gowator
I have an NVidia GeForce 2 and it works ok, but the 3D rendering doesn't seem to work. None of the 3D (open GL) screen savers will work on my system. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This just illustrates how little of the graphics cards are actually used outside of gaming. If the OpenGL savers are not working your 'probably' using the nv (opensource) driver not the closed nvidia. <<Its possible the nvidia is just not set up correctly>> however ,this is my finding... the stability of the nvidia is much worse than nv and half the time you dont notice a difference... project looking glass may change this... but at present this is why the Matrox with 32MB ram is still used and I hardly ever notice a differecne! zero0w
I guesss this is just circumstantial expression of a driver configuration issue, not enough to conclude the 3D driver quality or demand, if the ATi petition is any indication.
