Steve Scrimpshire
Are there any errors before that?
Pierre
Thanks for your reply, Steve! No errors before. Upgrade process starts with language selection and the software agreement display. After I click "Upgrade Mandrake Linux release 9.2 (Five Star)" this error appears! bvc
don't upgrade....fresh install only, always. I wish they'd leave that upgrade nonsesnse for devel/beta versions only til it actually, consistantly works.
Pierre
Yes I understand, but previously upgrade worked OK from 9.1 to 9.2 and I am sure it is supposed to work. It must be part of the plan, why wouldn't it? Hate to think about a new install and reinstalling all applications and get everything to work the way I want. I wanted to try 10.0 but may have to stay with 9.2... Must be an obvious explanation to my problem and I hope someone has a solution! Ixthusdan
There are too many recent issues like this, with 10 reading an existing drive. Personally, I think this is related to the "xp won't boot" fiasco. Try changing your bios to lba, and see if that makes it work. I agree with bvc, the upgrade path does not work. (It doesn't work in windows, either B) )
