Good IDE for C++?

I'm a fan of using Kate, it has the highlights for C++ and other languages too as well as a terminal that you can debug and compile the program using g++.

Stuff IDEs

 

Anjuta is good but if you are starting or still new you dont need it.

 

All you need is a good text editor and the command line.

 

i like cooledit as an editor, but theres a huge range

One word: jEdit

One of the best text editors around with a ton of plugins and it understands C++ (at least in the way of code highlighting, code folding, beautifying, etc).
