jeanackle
Hi all, I'm using the Gnome Display Manager to log in, and I'd like to know how/where to change the font size for all the menus and messages... Cheers,
bvc
Example: /usr/share/gdm/themes/mdk/mdk.xml <?xml version="1.0"?> <!DOCTYPE greeter SYSTEM "greeter.dtd"> <greeter> <item type="pixmap"> <normal file="background.png"/> <pos x="0" y="0" width="100%" height="100%"/> </item> <item type="rect"> <pos x="0" y="90%" width="100%" height="10%"/> <fixed> <item type="rect"> <normal color="#ffffff"/> <pos x="0" y="4" width="100%" height="100%"/> <box orientation="horizontal" spacing="10" xpadding="10"> <item type="rect" id="language_button" button="true"> <normal color="#ffffff"/> <pos y="50%" anchor="w" width="box" height="box"/> <box orientation="horizontal" spacing="10" xpadding="10"> <item type="pixmap"> <normal file="languages.png" tint="#dddddd"/> <prelight file="languages.png"/> <active file="languages.png" tint="#b8bcdb"/> <pos y="50%" anchor="w"/> </item> <item type="label"> <normal color="#21449c" font="Sans 14"/> <prelight color="#666666" font="Sans 14"/>
jeanackle
Thanks for the tip, but what if I'm using the "Standard login" instead of the "Graphical" one?
Qchem
You mean you don't think the GNOME documentation is good enough? Something seriously needs to be done about that!!!
jeanackle
Well... does it come with chips or french fries? Seriously now, though I'm using GDM and have the gnome-user-guide package installed, I'm not using GNOME itself, so I forgot I had those... And besides, I don't know how to browse those bloody .xml files! Still, there must be some help in the gnome web site, so thanks... :) Off I go... jeanackle
I dug what I could, but couldn't find what I was looking for (also, the GDM home page was unavailable), so yes, something must be done! EDIT: Nevermind, I just found the damned thing! Which is here... Edited May 24, 2004 by jeanackle
