hippocampe
I heard that you can start a program from a remote machine which runs X and you can "export" the display to another machine which also runs X. In other words, the program would run on a remote machine but the display would be on another one. I would like to know where to start. I guess it should work as long as both use X even if say, one is Sun and the other runs Linux? Thanks
qeldroma
Start with the XDMCP HowTo, then with the TippsAndTricks inside this Forum and then, i think, there's hopefully nothing left of interest, that'S unknown to you ;-)
